According to the Special Investigation Service, regarding the protests taking place in November and December 2024, the Public Defender's Office and the Media Ombudsman and received notifications regarding violations of the rights of 319 individuals from temporary detention centers.

The service has received information through a hotline, as well as from the Public Defender's Office, the Media Ombudsman "And received a notification about the violation of the rights of 319 persons from temporary detention centers, including both protest participants and media representatives. The service continues to receive notifications on a permanent basis. A quick legal response is made to each notification, making maximum use of the service's existing resources," the statement reads.
According to the investigation, 140 citizens have been interviewed in temporary detention centers and medical clinics.
Since the beginning of the investigation, 140 people (including 5 journalists) have been interviewed in the investigative body, temporary detention centers and medical clinics, and 42 citizens have undergone medical examinations. In order to obtain evidence, the scene of the incident was inspected at various locations, during which surveillance cameras of interest to the investigation were identified.
